Radio Mali on air again on 5995 kHz. Here an old QSL, thanks to Anker Petersen

Here are my latest loggings from Skovlunde (Denmark) on the AOR AR7030PLUS with 28 metres of longwire. I noted improved reception conditions with stronger signals and less atmospheric noise.

QSL by a real low power: Centrale Milano 1530 AM 2 watt

Ecco una QSL davvero Low Power è quella che ho ricevuto da Centrale Milano 1530 kHz. Trasmissione con soli 2 watt ma ottima musica con altrettanto ottima modulazione, ascoltata mentre andavo al lavoro qui a Milano con l'autoradio.

Il merito va tutto a Michele D'Amico iz2eas che è stato il primo a segnalare l'emittente con lo slogan (vero) "Tutta un'altra musica" e a ottenerne la QSL. Ciao, Giampiero

La notizia, ormai nota, è che i trasmettitori della Sentech  a Meyerton, in Sud Africa, saranno spenti a fine marzo. Quindi se qualcuno volesse una conferma, magari per ricordo, deve sbrigarsi ad inviare un rapporto di ascolto. La decisione mette in difficoltà Channel Africa ed altri broadcaster

DXer Marzio Vizzoni is spending holidays in Tenerife, Canary Islands. He monitored MW local station and reports:

837 COPE Las Palmas is active on air. (It was reported inactive)

1008 Radio Las Palmas heard with no id but local coverage of Carnival only on March 2 in the evening with weak signal. Then not heard anymore. Maybe used only for special events.

Radio Centrale Milano 1530 AM - Una vera low power

Tempo di low power in onde medie. A Milano domenica 3 marzo è stata ascoltata, dal DXer Michele D'Amico IZ2EAS, Radio Centrale Milano su 1530 kHz.

Si tratta di una vera low power in aria con 10 watt e, da quanto si legge su Facebook, operante con un'antenna Isotron, molto usata per le low power di quartiere anche all'estero. Sta facendo delle prove e ovviamente la sua presenza on air è decisamente irregolare.

Si identifica come "Centrale Milano... tutto un altro sound", con musica anni 80 e 90.
